If you're using Vincere as your Applicant Tracking System (ATS), there will inevitably come a time when you need to pull your candidate data out of the system. Whether you are running a custom email campaign, moving data to a CRM, or preparing a list of applicants for automated AI phone screening, exporting candidates to a CSV file is a fundamental workflow.
In this guide, we'll walk you through the exact steps to export your candidate data from Vincere ATS quickly and efficiently.
Step 1: Navigate to Advanced Search
The easiest way to export a bulk list of candidates is through Vincere's Advanced Search feature.
- Log into your Vincere dashboard.
- Locate and click on the Advanced Search option in your main navigation menu.
- From the entity selection dropdown, choose Candidates. (Note: You can use this same process to export Contacts, Jobs, or Companies).
Step 2: Apply Your Filters
Before exporting, you likely don't want to download your entire database. Use the search filters on the left-hand side to narrow down your list. You can filter by:
- Specific Talent Pools
- Job Titles
- Location
- Application Status
- Date added
Once your filters are set, review the list to ensure you have the correct segment of candidates.
Step 3: Export to CSV
With your candidate list ready, it's time to generate the export:
- Look for the hamburger icon (☰) located in the top-right corner of the search interface.
- Click the icon to open the actions menu.
- Select Export to CSV from the dropdown list.
- A prompt will appear asking you to confirm the export and name your file. Enter a descriptive name and click Save.
Note: If you are exporting a very large list, the system may take a few minutes to process the request. In this case, Vincere will typically email you a download link once the CSV file is ready.
Alternative: Exporting Candidates from a Specific Job
If you only want to export the candidates who applied to a single, specific job requisition, the process is slightly different:
- Navigate to the specific Job record in Vincere.
- Click on the Applications tab.
- Use the checkboxes on the left to select the specific candidates you want to download (or click the top checkbox to select all).
- Click the Export CSV button located above the candidate list.
Troubleshooting: Why can't I see the Export button?
If the Export to CSV option is missing from your menu, it is almost certainly a permissions issue. In Vincere, exporting data is a privileged action. You will need to contact your system administrator to ensure your user profile has the necessary Data Export rights enabled.
What to do with your exported candidates?
Now that you have your candidate list in a CSV format, what's the next step? For many recruiters, the hardest part of the job is actually getting these candidates on the phone for an initial screening call.
Instead of manually dialing hundreds of numbers or playing email ping-pong to schedule 30-minute intro calls, you can automate this entire process using InterviewFlowAI.
Simply upload your exported Vincere CSV into InterviewFlowAI. Our AI agent will instantly reach out to every candidate, conduct a professional 10-15 minute conversational phone interview, and provide you with a ranked shortlist of the top performers—saving you 20+ hours of manual screening time per week.
