How much does Zenarate cost?
Zenarate doesn't publish prices; it sells through demos, Vendr has no data and Capterra lists "Contact vendor" with no free trial. Outdoo, a competitor, reports a 200-learner minimum of about $80,000 a year plus about $25,000 in year one, from a September 2026 sales quote, with Analyze metered separately. We couldn't verify these figures. Checked 11 October 2026.
The decision at a glance
- Choose Zenarate if you train hundreds of contact-centre agents after hire and want whole-job simulations, certification and readiness gating tracked in an LMS.
- Choose InterviewFlowAI if you need to assess candidates before you hire them, hire for roles outside CX as well, or don't want a minimum contract.
- Pricing difference: Zenarate is quote-only, with a competitor-reported minimum of about $80,000 a year. InterviewFlowAI charges $1.99 per scored role play, with no seat fees or minimums.
- Can you use both? Yes. InterviewFlowAI covers the pre-hire step; Zenarate covers onboarding and ongoing training.

Zenarate pricing explained
Zenarate's site offers a demo rather than a pricing page. Its platform has three parts: Perform (simulation training), Analyze and Evolve, which launched on 24 June 2026. According to Outdoo, a competitor, Analyze is metered separately and avatar simulations run on a token allocation.
| Source | Figure | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Outdoo, a Zenarate competitor | 200-learner minimum about $80,000 a year plus about $25,000 in year one | Sales quote reported for September 2026; unverified |
| Vendr | No data | Third-party purchase data not available |
| Capterra | Contact vendor; no free trial | Third-party listing |
G2 reviewers report about three months to implement and seven months to ROI. Zenarate is aimed at large contact centres and BPOs; teams under about 200 learners may find the reported minimum hard to justify.
What InterviewFlowAI costs for role plays
InterviewFlowAI charges $1.99 per scored AI role play. If a session can't be scored, for example because the call was too short or failed for technical reasons, it isn't charged.
There are no seat fees, setup fees, minimums or annual commitments. See InterviewFlowAI pricing.
Cost examples
Hiring: 100 candidate role plays a month
InterviewFlowAI: $1.99 per scored role play, with no seat fees or annual contract.
Zenarate: not applicable. We found no current candidate-screening flow.
Training: a 200-agent contact centre
Zenarate: about $105,000 in the first year if the competitor-reported 200-learner minimum and year-one fee apply. That figure is unverified.
InterviewFlowAI: $1.99 per scored skill check, with no learner minimum, seat fees or annual contract.
The catch: InterviewFlowAI covers scored voice skill checks only. Each person gets one attempt per role play, and there are no LMS links, certification tracking, chat, email or software simulations, or QA on live conversations. For ongoing agent training, Zenarate is the better tool.
How the two compare in practice
Building a scenario
Zenarate says authoring takes under a minute, building scenarios from policy documents, call recordings and knowledge articles, with guided and unguided simulations across voice, chat, email, back-office and software tasks. InterviewFlowAI starts from a plain-English description: the AI asks a few clarifying questions, then drafts the scenario, character and scoring criteria. You can set the difficulty, six personality sliders and up to 15 hidden facts the character reveals only when asked, or when probed deeply. Templates include a frustrated customer escalation and a renewal at risk.
Bottom line: Zenarate simulates more of the agent's job; InterviewFlowAI focuses on one realistic conversation per candidate.
Scoring and evidence
Zenarate rates agents on specific behaviours against a skills taxonomy, with badging, certification, readiness gating and KPI dashboards. InterviewFlowAI scores 3 to 12 weighted criteria from 0 to 5 and combines them into a 0–100 score, with must-pass rules and a recommendation from Strong yes to No. Each report includes the recording, transcript, timestamped evidence per criterion and a PDF export. There's no automatic pass mark.
Bottom line: Zenarate tracks agent readiness over time; InterviewFlowAI compares candidates on a single scenario.
Hiring workflow
Zenarate has a page at /use-cases/pre-hire-assessments, but as of 11 October 2026 it carries post-hire content aimed at new hires and tenured staff, and Perform mentions readiness gating for new hires only. Candidate links, attempt rules and ATS integration aren't documented.
In InterviewFlowAI, you can send a role play to candidates already in your AI interview pipeline, to up to 50 people added by hand, or to a CSV of up to 500. Each person gets a unique link, needs no account, and has one attempt. Results appear in the role play report, the candidate's InterviewFlowAI report and a PDF.
Bottom line: for the pre-hire step, InterviewFlowAI documents a flow and Zenarate currently doesn't.
Training depth
Zenarate is built for onboarding and certification at scale, with xAPI and LMS integration and delivery in Teams and Slack. Outdoo, a competitor, quotes G2 reviewers who say simulations can feel linear and feedback isn't detailed enough for experienced reps; we couldn't verify this. InterviewFlowAI has no LMS links, certifications or leaderboards, and each person gets one attempt per role play.
Bottom line: for training agents after hire, choose Zenarate.
Security and setup
Zenarate says it's SOC 2 compliant and supports PCI, HIPAA and GDPR requirements. G2 reviewers report about three months to implement. InterviewFlowAI is self-serve: you draft a role play from a prompt, publish it and send invites from your account.
Bottom line: Zenarate fits an enterprise CX rollout; InterviewFlowAI fits a recruiting team that wants to start this week.

How we compared
We checked Zenarate's homepage, Perform page and pre-hire assessments page on 11 October 2026, plus PR Newswire, Reworked, Capterra, Vendr, G2 and Outdoo. Zenarate publishes no prices and Vendr has no data, so the only Zenarate cost figure here comes from Outdoo, which sells a competing product; we've labelled it as unverified. InterviewFlowAI facts come from our pricing page and documentation. We make InterviewFlowAI. If anything here is out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.
