Second Nature pricing explained
Second Nature's pricing page returned a server error when we checked on 11 October 2026, and Capterra lists "Contact vendor". Paid plans are sold as enterprise packages. Second Nature's FAQ says the enterprise package includes five training sessions and quarterly business reviews, and its video-avatar announcement says every customer gets 6,000 free trial minutes of video avatars. It also offers short Free Role Plays. G2 users rate its cost at the top of G2's scale and report about two months to implement.
What teams report paying
| Source | Figure | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Outdoo, a Second Nature competitor | $50 a credit, where one credit is one user for one month; a $12,000 proposal for 240 credits (August 2026) | Competitor-reported quote |
| Outdoo (competitor) and Prospeo | About $30–$40 per seat a month; minimum annual contract around $20,000; about 2 months to implement | Estimates |
| Whatfix, a Second Nature competitor, citing Vendr | Median between $19,000 and $26,700 a year | Third-party data reported by a competitor (Vendr's own page was unavailable) |
Second Nature doesn't publish contract terms, and as reported its credits are consumed per active user per month. That model is built for people you train over time. If you plan to send role plays to job applicants, ask Second Nature how candidates are counted.
What InterviewFlowAI costs for role plays
InterviewFlowAI charges $1.99 per scored AI role play. If a session can't be scored, for example because the call was too short or failed for technical reasons, it isn't charged. There are no seat fees, setup fees or annual commitments. See InterviewFlowAI pricing.
Cost examples
Hiring: 100 candidate role plays a month
InterviewFlowAI: $1.99 per scored role play, with no seat fees or annual contract.
Second Nature: about $60,000 a year if each candidate consumes one $50 user-month credit. That's an illustrative estimate from a competitor-reported rate; Second Nature doesn't document how candidates are priced, so ask before you commit.
Training: 10 reps for a year
Second Nature: $6,000 a year at $50 per credit, or around $20,000 if the reported minimum applies. Both are estimates from competitor-reported figures.
InterviewFlowAI: $1.99 per scored role play, with no seat fees or annual contract.
The catch: each person gets one attempt at each InterviewFlowAI role play, so practising the same scenario again means creating a new or cloned role play. There are no certifications, leaderboards or LMS links. For ongoing training programmes, Second Nature is the better tool.
How the two compare in practice
Building a scenario
Second Nature builds personas from natural-language descriptions plus uploaded documents, web pages and knowledge-base articles, and can turn best practices from recorded calls into checklists, according to SiliconANGLE. InterviewFlowAI starts from a plain-English description: the AI asks a few clarifying questions, then drafts the scenario, character and scoring criteria for you to edit. You can set the difficulty, six personality sliders and up to 15 hidden facts that the character reveals only when asked, or when probed deeply.
Bottom line: Second Nature draws more from your existing training content. InterviewFlowAI gives finer control over what the character hides and how it behaves.
Scoring and evidence
Second Nature's FAQ says scores arrive in 45 to 90 seconds, weighted 70% knowledge and 30% style by default, with adjustable AI criteria, manual scoring and a way for reps to request a score review. InterviewFlowAI scores 3 to 12 weighted criteria from 0 to 5 and combines them into a 0–100 score. A low score on a must-pass criterion flags it and sets the recommendation to No. Each report includes the recording, transcript, timestamped evidence per criterion and a PDF export. There's no automatic pass mark.
Bottom line: Second Nature's scoring is built for coaching reps; InterviewFlowAI's is built for comparing candidates.
Hiring workflow
Second Nature's HR page says AI can "interview" applicants or have them deliver a sample sales pitch, producing "an objective score for each candidate". Its public pages don't document candidate links, attempt limits, ATS integration, anti-cheating or how candidates are priced as of 11 October 2026.
In InterviewFlowAI, you can send a role play to candidates already in your AI interview pipeline, to up to 50 people added by hand, or to a CSV of up to 500. Each person gets a unique link, needs no account, and has one attempt. Results appear in the role play report, the candidate's InterviewFlowAI report and a PDF.
Bottom line: Second Nature markets hiring use; InterviewFlowAI documents the candidate flow end to end.
Training depth
This is Second Nature's strength. It offers reports, leaderboards, gamified challenges, sales certifications and a built-in course builder, plus group and multi-persona simulations reported by Outdoo. PitchMonster, a competitor, calls its LMS story the strongest in the category. InterviewFlowAI doesn't offer certifications, leaderboards or LMS links, and each person gets one attempt per role play.
Bottom line: for workforce training, choose Second Nature.
Integrations, security and setup
Second Nature integrates with Cornerstone, Docebo, SuccessFactors and Adobe Learning Manager, plus Salesforce and HubSpot, and supports SCORM, an API, SCIM and SAML SSO. It says it hosts on GCP in the Netherlands with AES-256 encryption and adheres to GDPR, SOC 2 and CCPA. G2 users report about two months to implement. InterviewFlowAI is self-serve: you draft a role play from a prompt, publish it and send invites from your account.
Bottom line: Second Nature fits an enterprise L&D stack; InterviewFlowAI fits a recruiting stack.

Switching from Second Nature for hiring
Most teams won't move training. They'll move candidate screening and keep Second Nature for reps.
- What transfers: scenario descriptions, source decks and scripts are text. Paste them into InterviewFlowAI's prompt and the AI drafts the role play.
- What you rebuild: personas and scoring checklists become an AI character and weighted criteria; decide which criteria are must-pass.
- What stays in Second Nature: courses, certifications and SCORM content in your LMS. Second Nature says it removes all data on request at termination.
